Peter F. Cammarano
Cammarano has a record of public service to his home state of New Jersey, having served as Chief of Staff to two New Jersey Governors: Governor Phil Murphy and Governor Richard Codey. Cammarano also served as mayor of the Borough of Metuchen. Cammarano is an experienced executive, strategist, and communicator who has overseen the development of wide-ranging state policy and budget initiatives. He has experience managing day-to-day operations of state government. Cammarano’s leadership enabled him to navigate legislative, corporate and private sector issues in the health care, insurance, environmental and economic arenas.
As a communication strategist, Cammarano has developed an interest in cannabis policy. He co-founded and served as president of the New Jersey Cannabis Industry Association. He was a founder and managing partner of Cammarano, Layton & Bombardieri in Trenton, where he implemented effective government affairs strategies and maintained strong relationships with leaders in all branches of government.
