Jacqueline Angotti
Jacqueline Angotti of Robbinsville is an adult nurse practitioner working at Capital Health. She became an advocate for medicinal marijuana research after the botanical provided extraordinary help for her son Miles Blackman, who began having seizures from epilepsy around the age of two. After numerous epilepsy medications failed to help — and caused side effects such as tremors, drooling, weight gain, and sleepiness — Angotti sought out medicinal marijuana for Miles. Cannabis has improved his condition. Angotti joined CERI to advocate for research to uncover how cannabis works for people with epilepsy and other disorders.
